A new dog is a new addition to your family. The moment you decide to bring one home, you must be a hundred percent sure that you are ready to take on the responsibility owning a dog entails. No matter how cute or adorable the dog is, if you end up not liking their natural tendencies then you might end up not liking each other at all. So, it is best that you are able to research on the dogs that you are interested in and make a proper assessment of the kind of dog that will fit your life best.

At any rate, you must decide to love your dog in spite of their limitations or character flaws (if there is such a term) that you might not be fond of. Your dog will be most loyal to and will return the love you will bestow on him and this is what is most essential in the relationship between you and your dog.
